Baker – BnB Bakehouse (OEM Production)

BnB Bakehouse is a licensed commercial bakery based in Ottawa, specializing in Hong Kong–style breads, chiffon cakes, and pineapple buns with Canadian fusion flavors. In addition to serving our community through special orders and catering, we provide OEM/factory baking for other brands and businesses. We pride ourselves on quality, consistency, and authentic flavors.

Your Role as a Baker

As a Baker at BnB Bakehouse, you’ll play an essential part in delivering consistent, high-quality baked goods for our clients and partners. Unlike retail bakeries, our focus is on production for wholesale and OEM orders—helping other businesses bring their bakery products to life. We’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented team members who are excited to grow their baking skills in a professional production setting.

What Your Day Looks Like

  • Work as part of a small production team to prepare daily orders following standardized recipes and quality controls.
  • Read production schedules, weigh and mix ingredients, mould and shape dough, and operate commercial ovens and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace that meets food safety standards.
  • Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing large-volume orders for delivery.
  • Contribute ideas for improving efficiency and consistency in production.

Physical Requirements

  • Standing/walking for long periods.
  • Lifting up to 22 kg (bags of flour, trays, etc.).
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From $20.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
